The EVO 0550 is a compact laser module with fixed optics for precise contour welding of plastic components. With a spot diameter of approximately 1 to 10 mm, a working distance of approximately 200 to 600 mm and laser power of up to 400 W, the module can be configured to meet different application requirements.
The fixed optics make the EVO 0550 particularly suitable for contour welding, for example in combination with X-Y axis system of for radially symmetrical components. An integrated red pilot laser supports setup and positioning. Optional temperature control and closed-loop control for a constant welding temperature provide additional possibilities for process monitoring and control.
