EVOSYS receives certificate for participation in the Bavarian Environmental + Climate Pact
Subscribe to our NewsletterEVOSYS, a technology leader in the field of laser plastic welding, has been officially recognized as part of the Bavarian Environment + Climate Pact.
Dr. Janik, Mayor of Erlangen, presented the certificate to Managing Director Frank Brunnecker in person at the EVOSYS company premises. This recognition confirms the company’s comprehensive commitment to sustainable manufacturing solutions and its active contribution to environmental and climate protection in Bavarian industry.
As a young company, EVOSYS is aware of its responsibility towards future generations and is committed to greater sustainability and environmental protection far beyond the legal requirements. With innovative welding processes and the highly energy-efficient technology of laser plastic welding, EVOSYS is actively contributing to the technological change necessary for sustainable development. For example, the company’s products and expertise support the more efficient manufacture and operation of modern electric vehicles. EVOSYS attaches particular importance to high innovation, quality, and resource-saving production.
In 2024, EVOSYS received ISO 14001 certification – a globally recognized certification for environmental management systems. This certification includes requirements for continuous improvement in environmental performance and is an important signal to customers and suppliers.
In addition, EVOSYS consistently implements measures to reduce its ecological footprint:
- 100 percent green electricity: All electricity requirements are covered by renewable energies. In addition, EVOSYS produces its own electricity using photovoltaic systems on the roof surfaces.
- Climate-neutral natural gas: The natural gas used for the modern and efficient heating system is completely climate neutral.
- Efficient lighting: Only energy-efficient LED lighting is used in offices, halls, and outdoor areas at the site.
- Optimized mobility: The vehicle fleet is gradually being electrified. Employees can charge electric cars and e-bikes free of charge or at attractive rates. A financial incentive system also promotes the use of environmentally friendly means of transport.
- Efficient waste management: Consistent waste separation for plastics, paper, organic waste, steel, sheet metal, and electronic waste minimizes the amount of residual waste.
“The award as part of the Bavarian Environment and Climate Pact underscores our consistent customer focus and innovative strength in the development of environmentally friendly laser welding systems and special-purpose machines,” emphasizes Managing Director Frank Brunnecker. “We see it as our responsibility to combine technological innovation with sustainability and to develop future-proof solutions together with our partners.”
The Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact is an initiative of the Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment and Consumer Protection, which encourages companies to voluntarily implement measures to reduce emissions and resource consumption. By participating, EVOSYS commits itself to continuously improving its environmental performance and promoting dialogue with other companies and politicians.
