As a pioneer with centuries of experience in laser welding of plastic components, Evosys Laser GmbH is successfully using the field-proven, self-made software-tool EvoLaP.
Focus for this tool was to implement all specific functions for laser plastic welding in a multi-language software that includes all functions by touch. This is important for easy and safe operation in all different types of machines and production areas in worldwide locations.
Key functions of EvoLaP:
- Import of welding profiles from different CAD-file formats
- Easy adjustment and finetuning of the contour orientation and position
- Simulation functions like speedtest, burn-in-function for photo-paper
- Available in different languages, including Asian fonts, e.g. Chinese signs
- Many other tailor-made and useful operations
A very specific request during creation of the tool was the interoperability with all different kind of Evosys machines. Starting with the manual machines like Evosys EvoWeld Mini, through the complete Evosys portfolio and all customized machines.
EvoLaP is for sure used in all internal machines in Evosys Technical Centre and at Evosys Laser Services GmbH for job shop. The Evosys application engineers and software engineers are in daily cooperation for adding new and useful functions to the software.
A function to transfer welding processes from one machine to another one is already included. By that, EvoLaP can ensure that all the experience gained during product and process development phases e.g. on a lab machine, can be easily transferred to the higher automated machines.
The software is scope of delivery of all scanner based Evosys machines and can be additionally installed on other Windows© 10 PC’s, laptops – even on small screens like on Windows© tablets EvoLaP runs perfectly.
