First subsidiary of the Evosys Group celebrates tenth anniversary

The Evosys Laser Services GmbH, service subsidiary of the Evosys Group, is celebrating its ten-year company anniversary. Since its founding, the company has supported industrial customers with technical services, contract manufacturing, design services and training around laser material processing. The anniversary year also stands for continuous growth: the Evosys Laser Services GmbH will conclude with a new sales record.
In the early years, the service team shared the premises with the Evosys Laser GmbH and accompanied their relocation. With growth, the space requirement increased. In 2023, the Evosys Laser Services GmbH moved into its own building directly next to the parent company. On around 600 m², space is available for all employees and the entire production facility.
The areas of activity have also developed further over the years. At the beginning, the automotive industry mainly shaped the demand. In recent years, applications from medical technology and consumer goods have been added increasingly. The company wants to expand its presence and recognition in these areas further. New applications and sectors are also to be explored in contract manufacturing. A focus is placed on further developing the specialisation in medical technology.
The organisational development of the company was initially shaped by Managing Director Konrad Kraus and subsequently by Stephan Nickisch. Both laid important foundations for the building of the company. On 1 February 2025, Thomas Eckert took over the managing directorship. Together with an engaged leadership team from the areas of service, contract manufacturing and design, he leads the team of 25 employees. „Ten years of Evosys Laser Services stand for trust, know-how and a team that takes responsibility for the processes of our customers. We thank all customers, partners and employees who have supported us on this path", says Thomas Eckert, Managing Director of Evosys Laser Services GmbH.
Since 2019, the company has been ISO 9001 certified, which was successfully renewed in October 2026. This proves the high quality requirements of Evosys Laser Services GmbH and gives customers orientation on the reliable processes and processes of the company. These apply to all performance areas, from maintenance via design services to jobbing production.
For the coming years, the company wants to further develop its service services. This includes a new 24/7 service contract model. At the same time, the service team is growing. In the past year, two apprentices from the Evosys Group joined. This underlines the close integration within the corporate group. The goal of Evosys Laser Services GmbH is to expand its position as a leading provider of services around laser plastic welding.
„Essential for us is to remain close to the market and to our customers. Speed and flexibility count as our greatest strengths. We also want to preserve these with further growth", says Thomas Eckert.

Our corporate group has grown steadily in recent years and has further strengthened its market position. Evosys Laser Services GmbH makes an important contribution to this. Together, we want to continue to expand our competences and continue the development of the corporate group."
