We are consistently committed to sustainable production and business processes and our efforts were recently recognized with an award from the Bavarian Environment and Climate Pact. The official certificate was presented to Managing Director Frank Brunnecker by Dr. Janik, Mayor of Erlangen. This recognition confirms our comprehensive commitment to environmentally friendly manufacturing solutions and the continuous improvement of our environmental performance.
As an ISO 14001-certified company, we adhere to clearly defined standards for an efficient environmental management system. Throughout our daily operations, we focus on reducing our ecological footprint and conserving resources. For example, 100 percent of our electricity needs are covered by renewable energies, including solar power generated by new photovoltaic systems on the roofs of our buildings. In this way, we are sending a clear signal for the promotion of renewable energies and actively supporting the energy transition in industry.
Expanding the company’s own energy supply not only makes a significant contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions, but also lays the foundation for a more sustainable mobility strategy: the vehicle fleet is gradually being electrified, and the infrastructure for charging electric cars and e-bikes is being continuously expanded. At the same time, targeted incentive systems promote the use of environmentally friendly means of transport.
In addition to energy supply, the focus is also on sustainable design throughout the entire production process. The use of energy-efficient welding processes, modern LED lighting, and consistent waste separation enables us to conserve resources and effectively reduce residual waste volumes.
These measures enable us to combine technological innovation with active responsibility. Our goal is to create sustainable solutions and enable future-proof production processes through collaborative partnerships with customers and partner companies along the entire value chain.
