Our trade fair year came to an end with a successful Fakuma fair in Friedrichshafen, Germany. Evosys Laser presented numerous solutions for laser plastic welding at stand 4306 in hall A4. Visitor interest was strong, EVOSYS was pleased about the enormous response.

The 29th Fakuma, the international trade fair for plastics processing, took place in Friedrichshafen from October 15 to 19. Over 1,600 exhibitors showcased their innovations in efficiency, sustainability and the circular economy in twelve halls.

EVOSYS was delighted with the large number of long-standing customers who attended, the presentation of many new exciting projects and, above all, the lively response from the industry. The technical expertise of our team was in demand in intensive discussions, and the various welding processes were closely analyzed with regard to their possibilities. Whether contour welding, quasi-simultaneous, radial, 2 µm, AQW or the innovative Evo2Step welding, each technology has its advantages and disadvantages. Requirements were discussed, existing solutions outlined and projects concretized in a joint exchange.

The EVO 0800-TD process module was the trade fair highlight at the EVOSYS stand. The 19” plug-in units, which make the welding system even more flexible and robust, make the system particularly interesting.

As always, the efficient EVO 0750 laser module and the EvoWeld Mini table-top system were also on site. The advantages of laser plastic welding were convincingly demonstrated by means of live welds. A possible equipment with radial module or 2 µm laser was also well appreciated.
