Once again this year, our appearance at the K 2025 trade fair in Düsseldorf was all about innovation and sustainability. With a large number of high-quality technical discussions and great interest in our latest developments, it was clear that Evosys’ innovative strength is convincing.
Special attention was paid to the EvoWeld Mini, which was presented in a housing made of sustainable wood. This new product symbolizes the focus on environmentally friendly solutions in the field of laser plastic welding. The integrated absorption tester of the compact welding station attracted a great deal of interest and demonstrates our technological expertise.
The further development of the EvoWeld Generation 2 impressively demonstrated the possibilities of modern laser welding technology: optimized processes ensure even higher welding quality and shorter delivery times. Thanks to flexible options for manual or automated loading, the system can be quickly and individually adapted to specific requirements. An additional highlight at the trade fair was the retrofit kit for the Evo2Step process on the standard machine. This combination of special sequence control and simple equipment allows two-stage laser welding processes to be integrated efficiently and flexibly into existing systems.
For larger components, we offer customized Evo2Step machines with up to 2.8 kW laser power, extended working fields, and state-of-the-art clamping technology. For the first time, this enables the precise determination of the absorption properties of plastics at 980 nm during the welding process – a decisive advance for process reliability and result quality.
The further development of the EVO 0800-TD was also presented: The compact control technology in a space-saving 19″ rack facilitates integration into existing production lines and significantly reduces space requirements. With the stand-alone kit, users can flexibly develop processes and produce sample parts before the process module is transferred to an automated line.
Managing Director Holger Aldebert sums up the positive outcome of the trade fair: “The high number of visitors and the strong interest in our innovations confirm that we are on the right track. Sustainability and efficiency are increasingly becoming a focus for our customers—and our manufacturing solutions address precisely these issues.”
