High quality plastic parts for the automotive or medical industry – verified by INTEGO
Some plastic parts are just different: In some industries, the superior quality of an object made from plastics is indispensable for its function – sometimes for years to come. In the automotive industry, examples of such parts are important functional components like IR-transparent covers for LIDAR applications like distance sensors for autonomous driving, displays, light-guiding elements for interior illumination and tubing systems for combustion engines and electric vehicles.
Also parts from the medical industry like injection moulded lenses in various formats, welded containers used in analytics or optical elements applied in diabetes diagnostics have to conform to highest quality standards, both with their functionality but also during production. INTEGO offers a variety of customer-specific methods to monitor the required quality in all stages of production.
An intact outer appearance is frequently the first inspection target. INTEGO competently implements the optical inspection using innovate camera-illumination-units and the following assessment e.g., according to DIN ISO 10110.
In addition, INTEGO verifies the correct functionality of the parts using miscellaneous object-specific inspection techniques. In particular, the new generation of the PICTOR System family offers valuable insights regarding the welding process by determination of plastic transparency and subsequent welding seam inspection. The new generation offers improved accuracy and functionality. Inspection using infrared or lock-in thermography, especially suited for the welding seam inspection of GRP parts, are easy to realise using our high-resolution specialized camera SPICA 1280 HS. All systems are also available as in-line variant for integration into a production line
INTEGO also has many years of experience in the field of automation. Whether it is loading or unloading using robots or manually, transport of parts using conveyor belts or xyz-stages, handling of highly sensible parts using grippers, or other tasks like sorting, cleaning and marking - INTEGO offers the ideal automation solution, which combines economic efficiency and functionality.
For 20 years, INTEGO has been a well-established expert for high-performance inspection systems for customized non-destructive and contactless inspections in the plastic industry. Visit INTEGO at this year's SEMICON EUROPA in hall B1, booth 119. Using the surface inspection system AQUILA for the inspection of microscopic structures, concrete possibilities can be shown and discussed.
